NOTE:

Some of the samples may have been mixed with a bad batch of loading dye or there was too much ethanol remaining in the sample from the clean-up kit or some other unknown. Whatever the reason, the samples floated out of the well of the gel, instead of sinking to the bottom of the well. This caused the samples to be lost and they cannot be visualized well on the gel. Thus, we cannot check if PCR product was produced for some of the teams. Luckily, a tiny bit of the sample from Yellow Team (T/R lab) could be run, and a small band can be visualized, confirming the PCR worked. As this was a diagnostic test, it would have been nice if it worked, but it is not essential to continue on with the rest of the lab.
