Overview

The design of T7.1 genome uses six sections, alpha through zêta. Each section contains parts that are amalgamations of one or more functional genetic elements. In our design, the modification of parts on the full T7.1 genome is a two-stage process. First, we can manipulate parts to construct a section. Second, we can combine sections to assemble a full genome. We improved upon the design of sections beta through zêta based on our experience constructing section alpha.
