Summary

10x buffer for PCR with Taq. Makes 1mL.

Ingredients

  • 100 μL 1M Tris-HCl pH 8.3
  • 167 μL 3M KCl
  • 733 μL H2O

Protocol

  1. Mix, vortex.
  2. Store at -20°C

Notes

  • Should be supplemented with MgCl2 when used. A working concentration of 2.5mM (a 1/20 dilution of 50mM stock) works well for most applications.
