  1. Spacer란 반복유전자에서 유전자끼리 직접 인접하지않고 비발현부분을 사이에 두고 연결되어 있는데 이 비발현부분을 Spacer이라고 한다.

  • 금에다가 DNA를 붙이는 방법에 대해 공부함

  1. Gold nanoparticle을 염석과정을 실온에서 밤새 배양하여 수행한다.
  2. 과량의 올리고 뉴클레오티드를 제거하기위해, Gold nanoparticles은 원심분리하고, 상등액을 하단에 Gold nanoparticle의 펠릿에 두고 제거 하였다. 입자는 0.01% SDS 에 재부유 하였다. 이 세척과정은 총 다섯 상등액제거 를 반복 하였다.

  1. DNA based synthetic molecular walkers are reminiscent of biological protein motors. They are powered by Hybridization with fuel strands, environment induced conformational transitions, and covalent chemistry of oligonucleotides.
  2. The functionalities of state-of-the-art DNA walker systems can thus be analyzed for various applications.
  3. This is the paper to review recent progress on DNA walker principles and characterization methods, and evaluate various aspects of their functions for future applications.


  • 배운 내용
  1. DNA walker에서 toehold 의 유무에 따라 strand가 가지는 운동이 더 크고 작아짐을 알 수 있었다.
  2. DNA walker에서 에너지가 안정한 상태로 가기위한 움직임은 Spontaneous reaction에 의해 일어나고 에너지가 더 불안정한곳으로 가기위한 움직임은 연료가닥을 넣어줌으로써 움직인다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

DNA Origami Design of Dolphin-Shaped Structures with Flexible Tails

  1. It was demonstrated that different designs of the dolphin tail region provided various levels of flexibility in a predictable fashion.
  2. They show that the addition of specific attachment sites promotes dimerization between two independently self-assembled dolphin structures, and that these interactions stabilize the flexible tail.
  3. this dolphin shape has specific features that made it interesting for a thorough investigation of the flexibility of the narrow tail region.


  • 배운내용
  1. DNA Origami를 이용하여 유연성이 있는 꼬리부분을 가진 돌고래모양의 구조체를 만들 수 있다.
  2. 이 돌고래모양은 유연한 좁은 꼬리부분을 가졌다는것이 특별한 특징으로 철저한 연구동안 돌고래모양에 흥미로운점을 주었던 것이다.
  3. 이 유연성은 작은 유연성의 구조체로 구성되는것의 확장으로 나노크기로봇의 팔이나 나노크기의 캔틸래버와 같은 미래에 DNA Origami 디자인으로 개발될 수 있다.
  4. Figure 5의 그림에서 1번 고래의 등과 2번고래의 아랫부분은 T-extensions로 그리고 1번고래의 아랫부분과 2번고래의부분의 등부분은 sticky ends로 되어있는데 sticky ends부분에 의해 30분간 37도씨에서 두마리는 이량화될수있다.

Complex shapes self-assmbled from single-stranded DNA tiles

  1. Main design feature is a self-assembled rectangle that serves as a molecular canvas, with each of its constituent SST strands─folded into a 3 nm-by-7 nm tile and attached to four neighbouring tiles─acting as a pixel.
  2. A desired shape, drawn on the canvas, is then produced by one-pot annealing of all those strands that correspond to pixels covered by the target shape; the remaining strands are excluded.

  • 배운내용
  1. 10.5개의 베이스로 이루어진 하나의 도메인이 총 4개가 연결되어 42개의 베이스를 이루고있다.
  2. 외가닥 DNA를 이용하여 "Brick-wall"을 만들어 낼 수 있다.
  3. 2차원 외가닥 구조에서 맨 아래와 맨위의 가닥을 이어줌으로써 tube 즉 3차원 구조를 만들어 낼 수 있다.
  4. 캔버스를 이용하여 자가조립을 시키고 원하지 않는 부분은 남겨둠으로써 사라지게 만들어서 원하는 2차원 구조를 만들어 낼 수 있다.
  5. 이렇게 만들어진 2차원 구조들은 한곳에 섞어놓아도 서로 섞이지 않는다.

  • 적극적인 회의참석을 위해서 내일부터 노트북을 챙겨다녀야겠다고 생각이 들었음
