This is a wiki for the Endy and Knight Labs at MIT. It is an effort to perserve information relevant to the labs, as well as to provide a forum for protocols to be optimized and shared by lab members.
We're trying to decide whether or not to make this wiki world-writable (it is currently only world-readable). If you have any strong feelings or thoughts on this matter, please let us know.
Advantages:
- Provides easily accesible long term storage for lab protocols, strain lists, equipment manuals, etc. (helps reduce the information loss associated with the departure of a lab member)
- Allows lab members to easily share and troubleshoot protocols
- Excellent resource for new lab members (don't need to reinvent the wheel)
