The Which
Which box should I use for storing my items?
We also have a large collection of various plastic freezer/storage boxes that we've accumulated over the years. These can be used for storage of common reagents in the 4°C, -20°C, and -80°C spaces. Be sure to label and date everything that you put into storage. You should keep careful records of what you store in your own storage boxes.
The Where=
Where to put things in the -80°C Freezers=
- Store personal reagents in white freezer boxes (see picture) and store in your rack (see freezer chart here: )
- yMMs, bMMs
- You will always freeze a main and a backup copy of y, -MMs and bMMs. The main copy goes in the main -80°C freezer () the copy goes in the backup -80°C
