LEDOMG
As Central Laboratory for Quality of Seed and Planting Material (CLQSPM) from Bucharest – Romania is an official lab, with internal governmental affiliation, according to the Government Decision 1433/ December 2009, operating as a subordinate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
CLQSPM is affiliated and accredited by the “International Seed Testing Association” (ISTA) – Zurich, Switzerland, and it is re-accredited by this organization in April 2013, to perform laboratory determination for samples taken from seed lots meant for international trading, for laboratory determination and to issue International Orange Seed Lot Certificates.
CLQSPM through LEDOMG (Genetically Modified Organisms Detection Laboratory and Electrophoresis) department received in the year 2014 the ISO17025 acreditation for performing GMO detection and quantification in maize (MON 810 event) and 35S/T-Nos screening on soybean and corn.
