In order to stabilize microtubules after polymerization, they must be put in a solution containing Taxol. The amount of Taxol you put into solution depends on the type of experiment you wish to do. We use 10 µM Taxol in PEM.

The Taxol stock should be 10 mM in DMSO. If you make a 1 mL stock solution of PEM-T, it will last for a week.
