I have been trying to build a lab in the Netherlands for almost three years now. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to secure funding. However, even with these difficulties I have successfully help the TUD to start a research line in bacterial evolutionary biophysics in integrated synthetic ecosystems. I will keep trying to test the european financing landscape for independent young scientist.
I just arrived in Zuid-Holland and I am starting my lab here in the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience at the Technische Universiteit Delft.
