Jeong lab is seeking a '''highly motivated''' post-doctoral fellow interested in gene regulation of drug-metabolizing enzymes. Experience with molecular biology and biochemistry is required, and previous experience with eukaryotic gene regulation study is highly desirable. The candidate should have a PhD within last 2 years in relevant areas. For fullest consideration, applicants should e-mail a CV (with three references) and a cover letter to Young Jeong.

* A collaborate R21 project entitled “Comprehensive studies of novel SNPs affecting Warfarin dose in African Americans” was funded by NHLBI.  Jeong lab will characterize functional significance of the identified genetic variations.  Dr. Minoli Perera at University of Chicago is the principal investigator of the grant.  Other collaborator includes Dr. Larisa Cavallari.
