Profile
Major Biomedical Engineering, Track 2: Cellular and Biomolecular Engr
Class 2008 (probably 2009), 2nd-year undergraduate.
Research I recently received a fellowship for my undergraduate research project in cell and tissue engineering.
Hobbies/Interests Aside from spending hours in the BME lab doing research/experiments, teaching Yoga and Pilates at the gym, and learning in school, I try to find time to read chick-flick novels while on the elliptical/stationary bike at the gym, knit, and master the art of Karaoke Revolution on expert level.
Fortunately, the summer is when I find time to relax. Summer 2005, I worked under Drew Endy at MIT where I participated in the iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) competition on the MIT team, where we built a biological sensor. Next summer, 2006, I will co-op at Codon Devices, Inc., a start-up company in Cambridge, MA from the summer through Fall 2006. I am obviously in love with Boston.
Stay tuned for the results of the DDR/Karaoke competition between Team Endy and Team Codon.
