Many scaffold proteins have been identified from varieties of signaling pathways in cells,

and their roles in the signal transduction are thought to be a sort of modulator in a circuit.

From a journal club with the paper "Using engineered scaffold interactions to reshape MAP

kinase pathway signaling dynamics", we studied many versatile role of a scaffold protein and its possibilities of devising a biological circuit.
