Floor TwoPCR samples were retrieved and run on a gel fig 1, This was followed by the transformation of samples into bacterial cells, which was performed following the kit's protocol. Samples were plated on agar plates and incubated overnight at 37°C
For the protein experiments, a colony from each of the four transformation plates was inoculated into LB (2 samples with Kanamycin and Chlorophenicol, 2 samples with Kanamycin only) and left to grow overnight at 37°C in a shaking incubator.
