2008
2008年度メンバー
iGEM Kyotoは2008年度に結成しました。メンバーは様々な専攻の学部学生を主体とし、加えて修士院生とアドバイザーから構成されています。
テーマ（Raise the Titanic!）の独創性は群を抜いていましたが、残念ながら入賞を逃しました。
2009
2009年度メンバー
「今年こそは」と意気込んだ2009年は、さらにユニークなプロジェクトを2つ（Time Bomb とCells in cells）立ち上げ、主に夏休みの期間を利用して遂行し、銀賞（silver award）を受賞しました。
2010
2010年度メンバー1
2010年度のプロジェクトは"The Fantastic Lysisbox"です。バイオハザードの対策を考える中から細胞を溶かすことに注目しました。これはバイオハザードの防止だけでなく、製薬やさらに身近な例としてはバイオアロマなどにも応用できる優れたデバイスです。今年度の大会は11/5～11/8にかけて行われ、私たちは金賞を受賞しました。
2011
様々な立場の方々のご理解とご協力もあり、各人の強い好奇心や意欲を生かして創造的な科学研究活動が展開されています。
また、活動するための資金や場所の確保などさらに安定したチーム運営に向けても取り組んでいます。
