Characterisation of Chassis

We are investigating two new non cellular based gene expression systems:

• In vitro expression systems
• In veso (in a vesicle) expression systems

The aim is to characterise these new chassis using simple DNA constructs to try to unlock the new potential of non cellular based expression systems. We will use simple DNA constructs from the two projects Cell-by-Date and Infecter Detector.

The characterisation will be in terms of the simple DNA constructs used within the chassis. Although this is a limitaion we feel that we will still be providing foundations for future use of the these new chassis>
