20μL digestion

• Place the following in an Eppendorf:
  • 5~8μg DNA (inserts, if vector, max of 0.5μg)
  • 2μL 10x buffer
  • 2μL Enzyme – add last (must be kept cold at all times) - (should be less than 10% of the total volume otherwise glycerol will inhibit the enzyme activity)
  • Make it up to 20μL with MiliQ
