The Cannon Lab at High Point University
We are a new laboratory beginning undergraduate research into osmolyte effects on protein-membrane interactions. Our goals lie in two directions. We want to add an extra dimension to understanding the behavior of osmolytes in living systems, and we want to see if osmolytes can be used as a tool to dissect structural changes in protein-membrane interactions as they can in protein processes and protein-nucleic acid interactions.
