* Plates were seen on 11/16/15 and then transferred to cold room
**Plate 1- Over 200 small white colonies seen throughout  plate
** Plate 2 (negative control)- 2-3 small white colonies seen: contamination since no plasmid for Amp resistance was added (negative control)

* (1) Culture 1- Colony 1 from plate 1, KAH126-MV2/ DH5α- Turbo, LB + Amp
* (2) Culture 2- Colony 2 from plate 1, KAH126-MV2/DH5α- Turbo, LB + Amp

Baylee Murphy - 11/18/15- Session 2

Results from Session 1

  • Plates were seen on 11/16/15 and then transferred to cold room
    • Plate 1- Over 200 small white colonies seen throughout plate
    • Plate 2 (negative control)- 2-3 small white colonies seen: contamination since no plasmid for Amp resistance was added (negative control)

Samples for liquid culture

  • (1) Culture 1- Colony 1 from plate 1, KAH126-MV2/ DH5α- Turbo, LB + Amp
  • (2) Culture 2- Colony 2 from plate 1, KAH126-MV2/DH5α- Turbo, LB + Amp
