The Esa colonies on my grid plate were not red, so even though they look different than the backbone in the gel image, we suspect it is a contaminating plasmid. <br>
Ryan believes that RpaI colony 5 looks promising, however. Its band is around the 1500 mark whereas the  backbone bands are around 1000.
