Manual Interpretation:

  • NCBI BLAST of sequence aligns it with Homo sapiens chromosome 10 genomic contig, reference assembly
  • 1 snp at position 201 of the sequence: G to A
  • Manual inspection showed only one ORF in this sequence, starting position 61 (ATG) and ending with stop codon TTA starting position 83.
    • SNP position 201 not in ORF
    • Little concern for effects of mutation
  • I should probably check OMIM anyway, except I tried and couldn't get any results. I don't think I know how to use proper search terms in OMIM.
