iGEM

We are excited that we have just become an iGEM laboratory! And we are looking toward a bright future in synthetic biology.
Our plan is to produce a master laboratory planning document in January that will outline everyone's goals and projects as we get our lab up and running.

Yeast

We are planing on using yeast as our model organism for research into nuclear trafficking and the NPC.

Other

Hoping to build an infrared camera as part of the Public Lab (infragram.org) project

We hope to build and fly an infragram capable camera to produce NDVI (normalized difference vegetation index) images in order to access and survey local plant and crop health.
