Overview

For Bcc EPS production.

Materials

1000 mL:

  • Yeast extract 1 g
  • Na2HPO4 10 g
  • KH2PO4 3 g
  • K2SO4 1 g
  • NaCl 1 g
  • Water 900 mL

Procedure

Dissolve above components in 900 ml water and autoclave. Before use, add the following components from sterile stock solutions:

20 % Glucose 100 ml (2% final)
10 % Casamino acids 10 ml (0.1% final)
MgSO4 (from 1 M stock) 1 ml (1 mM final)
CaCl2 (from 1 M stock) 0.1 ml (0.1 mM final)
FeSO4 (from 0.1 M stock) 50 µl (5 µM final)
