The Duedu Lab has the aim of advancing our understanding of the dynamics microbial communities in health and disease. We are a multidisciplinary team with members from diverse health science backgrounds. The lab is based in the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the [http://uhas.edu.gh/ University of Health and Allied Sciences] in Ghana. Our major focus is studying the human microbiome in health and disease and understanding how to use microbial engineering for treatment of disease.  The lab is also interested in diagnosis, molecular epidemiology and characterization of infectious pathogens.
