15um droplets were re-injected at 30uL/h into the device and spaced-out using extra oil (2x300uL/h) and sorted at >2kHz. Illumination was provided by a laser beam focused on the channel (positioned between the 2 electrodes) with fluorescence detected using a photomultiplier that triggered sorting of positive droplets by application of a square pulse of 0.6-0.8 kV to the electrodes.
