Functional Genomics of Polyploidy and Hybridization
Welcome to the Dilkes Lab at Purdue University. Brian Dilkes is a member of the Molecular Evolutionary Genetics training group and the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. Brian Dilkes' CV can be found in a Wiki format here at OWW.
The lab uses genetics and genomics to investigate the consequences of genome dosage and genetic divergence on fitness and fertility. We also design novel genetic methods that utilize high-throughput DNA sequencing technologies for crop improvement and gene discovery.
