Sense strand, coding strand, noncodagenic strand, nontemplate strand

The DNA strand with the same sequence as the transcribed mRNA (given U in RNA and T in DNA).

Antisense strand, noncoding strand, codagenic strand, template strand

The DNA strand that forms the template for both the transcribed mRNA and the coding DNA strand.
