BOSSLab stands for Boston Open Source Science Lab.<br>
The Boston Open Source Science Lab is a collection of biotechnology equipment and a community of biotechnology enthusiasts in the Boston area.  The lab is currently hosted at [http://thesprouts.org/studios Sprout], a public workshop in Davis Square.
It's a volunteer-powered research center that brings amateurs and PhDs together to develop low-cost & low-waste tools and techniques for "DIY" biotechnology.
