Successive streaks on a plate ensure one area will provide colonies that are not too dense. Plates are incubated in the 37 degree room upside-down to prevent condensation on the agar.

Took plates that Samantha made out of the 37 degree room. Viable colonies had grown overnight (~18 hours). Wrapped plates with Parafilm and placed in yellow bin in the refrigerator at the end of my bench.
