Our lab is interested in transposons using an approach combining biochemistry, cell biology, bioinformatics and mathematical modelling.
The main focuses of the lab are on:
- Determination of the mariner transposition mechanism
- Molecular domestication of mariner transposons in the human genome
- Development of mariner transposons as gene vectors
