Design Considerations

  • Consider the number of copy numbers of the vectors:
    • ex) in repressilator they used a low copy number of repressilator vectors and a high number of GFP vectors- why? (GFP is output, you want a high gain; perhaps there is a low copy number of repressilator vectors to avoid noise or oscillations out of sync.
