Problem & Solution

We had difficulty to coupling dumbbell hairpins on the direction orthogonal to the origami. It is solved to use 3 sheets of DNA origami. And the form is closer to ideal.

Width :2 pitch 3.4nm×2=6.8 nm



We used 3 types of DNA origami. Normally, we needed 600 pieces of DNA staple (200 pieces per one DNA origami). But, despite of DNA staples that was modified dumbbell hairpins, DNA staples were shared among 3 types of DNA origami. So we were quit for 359 pieces of DNA staple.


Design



We designed one kind of QR code as an experiment.
It is a secret until we creat it at nano size.
