Madeline Childs

Madeline is a fourth-year Chemistry major from New Braunfels, Texas. In her free time, she enjoys reading, participating as a member of The Longhorn Band, and sleeping. In the future, she plans to attend medical school in order to work with Doctors Without Borders or become a forensic pathologist.

Reanna Edgerton

Reanna is a third-year Biochemistry student from Orange, Texas. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading books and manga, and going to concerts.

Edmund Fung

Edmund is a third-year Biomedical Engineering student in the Engineering Honors program at the University of Texas from Flower Mound, TX. Currently, he is researching graphene supercapacitors and has previously researched conducting polymers. In the future, he plans to go to graduate school and work on intelligent prosthetics in industry. In his free time, he enjoys photography, tennis, and piano.

Tarun Jain

Tarun is a third-year Biomedical Engineering major with a Business Foundations minor. His interests consist of playing tennis, table tennis, and hiking. He plans to attend graduate school to investigate how nanotechnology can be used to image and monitor the development of cancer-affiliated cells. He loves playing tennis and eating a variety of foods.

Paresh Jaini

Paresh is a fourth-year Psychology and Humanities double-major and Gates Millennium Scholar from McAllen, Texas. At The University of Texas, he has conducted research in biochemistry, genetics, public health, and psychology, and he plans to start medical school next year. Paresh enjoys singing, kickboxing, watching the Investigation Discovery channel and other murder mystery shows, and doing “Insanity” workouts.

Keerthana Kumar (KK)

KK is a third-year Computer Science and Biology double-major at the University of Texas at Austin from Chennai, India. Her research interests in computational biology involve tree and alignment estimation of ultra large protein data sets. She plans on attending graduate school in the future.

Bharadwaj Pingali

Raj is third-year Biochemistry student at the University of Texas at Austin.

Andy Tran

Andy is a third-year Biochemistry student in the Dean's Scholars Honors program at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include biochemistry and immunology. He plans to attend graduate school in the future.

Timothy Wong

Tim is a third-year Biochemistry major in the Health Science Scholars program at UT Austin. Hailing from LA but having lived in Austin for many years, he combines the cool California attitude with the Austinite desire for ingenuity and weirdness. His academic interests are in the chemical aspects of the central nervous system, and how they contribute to memory, learning, and body movement. In his free time, he enjoys reading interesting articles or books, exercising, and relaxing with friends and family. In the future, he plans to attend medical school to become a physician scientist.

Nancy Yuan

Nancy is a fourth-year student majoring in Biology and History. She likes Nat Geo pictures, hiking, and trying new foods. Her research interests include biosynthesis and biomolecular engineering, and wants to study something related to these in grad school.
