- Colon Cancer Detection Questions
Can isopeptags be used to detect a cancer biomarker and then create a response inside the cell? If not, what other transmembrane proteins can?
- Heat Production
What's a good "cold switch" - a riboswitch that would stop transcription at a specific temperature? Does the UCP1 create enough heat, fast enough, to make a difference? Does activation of UCP1 harmfully inhibit ATP production? Or can we overproduce ATP to compensate?
- CO Detection
Can E. coli be altered to survive in CO long enough to detect it?
