Experiment 2 (Rat Test)

Analysis

Experiment 1 (Human Test)
For this data, we chose the ANOVA test since there was multiple groups being compared.
ANOVA Test P Value - 1.40083E-16
ANOVA Post Test
0mg vs 5mg - 8.59631E-07 - Significant
0mg vs 10mg - 9.94377E-06 - Significant
0mg vs 15mg - 1.39436E-08 - Significant
5mg vs 10mg - 3.01859E-05 - Significant
5mg vs 15mg - 1.57101E-08 - Significant
10mg vs 15mg - 6.4824E-08 - Significant
Experiment 2 (Rat Test)
For this data, we chose the unpaired T Test because there was only two groups being compared.
T Test P value - 0.867403497 - Not significant

Summary/Discussion

The human study data showed us that there was a great significance in the amount of Inflammotin protein produced as a result of the increased dosage of LPS. This was true across all dosage levels with respect to the other doses they were compared to. When the dosage of LPS was increased, this caused the Inflammotin protein levels to also increase. For the rat study, there was so significance in the amount of protein levels as a result of an increased LPS dosage. The P value for the rat study was 0.867403497 which proved it to not be significant. Although these experiments tested for the same variables, they displayed different results in the end. Humans showed a significant difference in the amount of protein levels produced while rats showed no significance.
