LAB 1 WRITE-UP

Independent and Dependent Variables

Independent Variable: Dosage of lipopolysaccharide
Dependent Variable: Inflammatory response

Experimental Design

Groups
Five groups consisting of eight people each.
Age
18-25

Number of subjects per group
we want to test 8 subjects per group because we don't want to test too many people.

(Add details about your experimental design)

Subject Selection

The subjects will be selected by going to multiple college campus in the Phoenix area including technical schools and community colleges. College students are the perfect subjects for a graduate student low on cash. Furthermore, this is because they can be satisfied with a lower compensation

Sources of Error and Bias

A potential source of error would be if the subjects already had a pre existing inflamation condition. (What are some of the potential sources of error or biases that could affect your results and how would you control for them?)
