Luria Broth 1% Tryptone
0.5% Yeast Extract
1% NaCl
2% agar (only in plates)
Ampicillin Stock = 25 mg/ml in water
IPTG (Isopropyl β-D-1-thiogalactopyranoside) Stock 1 mg/ml
Na2CO3 Stock 1M
Z-buffer 60 mM Na2HPO4
60 mM NaH2PO4
1 mM MgSO4
10 mM HCl
0.27% β-mercaptoethanol
ONPG (ortho-Nitrophenyl-β-galactoside) Stock 4 mg/ml
Laemmli Solution (2x Sample Buffer) 0.125 M Tris, pH 6.7
4% SDS
20% glycerol
10% β-mercaptoethanol
Gel Running Buffer 0.92 M Glycine
0.05 M Tris Base
0.1% SDS
