Lab 1 Microbiology Boot Camp

In this first lab you will learn:

  1. Who microbiologists are and what they do
  2. To learn aseptic technique so that you don't contaminate yourself or your cultures
  3. To begin to become familiar with some of the basic equipment used in microbiological investigation
  4. To use a lab notebook to record the progress of your experiments
  5. About the different habitats that you can choose among for your semester project
