Entry titleThis week we worked on transforming our part BBa_J04450 and _________ into competant cells, unlike last weeks attempt we succeded in growing colonies of cells with our part in them. we counted the colonies of the plates from both days of transformation and found our colony count from 9/27 to be about 1/4 of what our colony count was from 10/02 showing us that we may have gotten no growth from the 9/27 group because of human errors. We also have our LB + antibiotic solutions set up to be inoculated on Monday 10/07 and grown overnight.
