this week we have finally locked in on a gene relating to Antifreeze proteins that we choose to work with. (BAD25684) we have found the sequence. this gene rather than coming from fish is from Japanese rice. Making it easier to get our hands on.

next weeks plan is to find a plasmid we wish to use as well as deciding what bacteria to put our AFP (Antifreeze Protein) into.
